Quote Validity & Lead Times
Quotes are valid for 45 days. Lead times shown are estimates based on our schedule when the quote was prepared and may change; lead time reflects production time until the order is ready to ship (transit time is additional).
Acceptance of Terms
This Quote is an offer for the sale of the specified products and services. By signing, you agree to all terms below. This is a legally binding contract—if not understood, seek competent advice.
Product Notes (Solid Wood)
Our table tops are made of solid wood; color variation, knots, and mixed wood grain patterns are natural and part of the product’s beauty.
Environmental Requirements (Required to Maintain Warranty)
Maintain a consistent indoor environment: 55–75°F and 30–50% RH to keep product moisture content at 6–8% for structural integrity, appearance, and quality. Failure to maintain these conditions violates the warranty. Returned products are moisture-tested; if outside 6–8%, TimeWorn may refuse repair or replacement.
Product Quotes, Samples & Orders
- Orders are scheduled only after we receive a signed Quote or PO and required payment. Lead times begin after approvals/payments.
- First two product samples are free; additional samples bill at current prices plus shipping.
- Prices may change without notice before receipt of signed quote/PO and deposit. All quotations are F.O.B. Atwater, MN, unless noted.
- Cancellations: Once approved with deposit, cancellations incur a 30% fee if production has not started, covering administrative/material prep (correspondence, queue slot, purchasing, rough cutting/selection).
- Stained products: stain applied to all sides, top and bottom otherwise specified.
Payment Terms & Taxes
Preferred: Check, Wire/ACH. We also accept major credit/debit cards; 3% convenience fee applies (not greater than our cost of acceptance). Orders under $6,000: payment in full at order. Orders over $6,000: 50% down at order; balance invoiced when ready to ship. Minnesota sales tax applies unless a qualifying tax exemption form is provided with each order.
Shipping, Storage & Receiving
- Shipping is scheduled after the order is paid in full. Dates are estimates; delays from material shortages, strikes, accidents, or other causes beyond our control may occur. Some items ship with assembly required (noted on your quote).
- Storage (at TimeWorn): after final invoice, unpaid orders accrue $5/day per crate starting day 22. Paid orders may be stored by arrangement (fees may apply).
- Freight Delivery Basics: Common carrier to business address during normal hours. Receiver is responsible for unloading; drivers are not obligated to help. Liftgate is available on request (fees/limits apply). Inside delivery is extra. Additional accessorials (appointment, residential, re-delivery, reconsignment, retention with power, storage at terminal) may apply—see “Freight Shipment Accessorials & Fees.”
- Carrier Terminal Storage: Begins 2nd business day after arrival: $60/day or more for first three days, then $200/day or more thereafter.
- Receiving & Damage Claims (Required): Inspect crates and contents before signing. Note any damage/shortage on the delivery receipt, take photos of all sides/top of crate and any product damage, and call us before signing. Freight must be inspected at delivery—no exceptions. We may reject claims not noted on the BOL or submitted more than 48 hours after delivery. Once products leave our facility, liability transfers to the carrier; claims for missing/damaged items are directed to the carrier.
Receiving & Uncrating Best Practices
Use a T-25 star bit to remove crate screws; remove top panels first, then sides. Cut nylon banding and carefully remove stretch wrap—do not cut directly into wrap. Lift and carry each top—do not drag.
Subsequent Orders (Color/Texture Matching)
For best matching, send one top from the original order with subsequent orders. Variations are inherent to wood (including reclaimed stock).
Returns
Because products are made-to-order/custom, returns are not accepted. If a product is found defective on delivery due to manufacturing, TimeWorn will, at its discretion, repair if possible or provide a replacement.
Limited Warranty (24 Months)
Products are warranted free of defects in material and workmanship for 24 months from customer’s acceptance of delivery, provided proper installation and maintenance. At our discretion, we’ll repair or replace. Warranty covers shipping and product only. Excludes: (1) negligence, accident, abuse; (2) normal wear and tear (including cosmetic scratches from cleaning, vacuuming, mopping); (3) alterations/modifications without our written permission (unless performed by TimeWorn). All raw material products are sold “AS IS.”
General Provisions
This agreement is the entire agreement and supersedes prior terms. Governed by Minnesota law; venue: District Court of Kandiyohi County, MN. Provisions bind parties and successors/assigns. If any provision is deemed illegal or unenforceable, the remainder remains effective.

How long is my quote valid?
Quotes are valid for 45 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
When does lead time start and does it include shipping?
Lead time begins after approvals and required payments are received. Lead time covers production only; transit time is additional.
What are your payment terms?
Orders under $6,000 require payment in full at the time you place your order. Orders over $6,000 require a 50% deposit at the time you place the order with the balance due before shipment. Major cards are accepted with a 3% convenience fee (not more than our cost of acceptance).
Do you charge sales tax?
Minnesota sales tax applies unless a valid tax-exemption form is provided for the order.
Can I cancel after approving my order?
Yes, if production has not started. A 30% cancellation fee applies to cover administrative work and material prep. Once production begins, the order cannot be canceled.
How are shipments delivered and who unloads?
Delivered by common carrier to a business address during normal hours. The receiver unloads; drivers are not obligated to help. Liftgate and inside delivery are available upon request for an additional fee.
Are there extra freight services or storage fees?
Accessorials such as appointment, residential, re-delivery, reconsignment, and inside delivery WILL incur extra charges. Carrier terminal storage typically begins on the 2nd business day after arrival with daily fees. After final invoicing, unpaid orders stored at TimeWorn may accrue per-crate daily storage after a grace period.
What do I need to do at delivery to file a damage or shortage claim?
Inspect at delivery. Note damage/shortage on the delivery receipt, take photos of all crate sides/top and any product damage, and contact TimeWorn immediately before signing. Claims not noted at delivery or reported promptly may be denied by the carrier.
Do you accept returns?
Because products are custom made-to-order, returns are not accepted. If a manufacturing defect is identified upon delivery, TimeWorn will repair if possible or provide a replacement at our discretion.
What does the 24-month warranty cover and what voids it?
It covers defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months from delivery acceptance with proper installation and maintenance. Excludes negligence, abuse, normal wear, and unauthorized modifications. Maintaining 55–75°F and 30–50% RH (≈ 6–8% wood moisture content) is required for coverage.
